With http://www.ThereGoestheBride.com, a companion Internet site for their book, ССThere Goes the Bride'' (Jossey-Bass Publishers, $14.95), authors Rachel Safier and Wendy Roberts provide a cyberplace for women to vent, be comforted and even share strategies for calling off nuptials.

And if you're wondering who gets the engagement ring, the site says: ССThese days, most courts rule that an engagement ring is a gift conditional upon marriage and require that the woman give it back even if the man called off the wedding.''
